A. For all students:

Students should fill the form attached with the prospectus correctly in his/her legible handwriting OR students may download application forms available on the college website www.bcacspune.com and dully filled application form should be sent to the admission cell of Sri Balaji Society along with the Demand Draft of any nationalized bank for Rs.300, drawn in favour of ‘Principal, Balaji College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Pune’.

  1. Write the name and address of the applicant on the reverse side of the DD.
  2. Incomplete forms will not be considered. Students who have taken provisional admission due to non availability of some document etc., should submit the documents in the stipulated time otherwise their admissions shall be cancelled.
  3. All admissions shall be provisional and subject to approval of University of Pune, and confirmation of the eligibility of the candidate.
  4. Fees can be paid in two installments. The first installment should be paid at the time of admission and the second installment in the first week of December.
  5. It is mandatory to submit a copy of any of the following proof of permanent address of the Mother/ Father/ Legal Guardian of the applicant – (a) Electricity Bill (b) Telephone Bill (c) Driving License (d) Ration Card (e) Passport (f) Voter’s Identity Card.
  6. Anti-Ragging Affidavit is mandatory to be submitted at the time of admission.
  7.  Minimum 80 % attendance in each subject is compulsory as per University of Pune rules.
  8.  All admissions and cancellations of admission and refund of fees shall be as per the norms of     University of Pune.
  9.  Reservation for backward Category-candidates will be as per the norms of Govt. of Maharashtra.
B. For students from other colleges in University of Pune area:
  1. Students seeking admission to first year should submit two attested true copies and the original mark sheet of H.S.C. exam.
  2. Students seeking admission to second year ( after clearing FY)should attach two attested true copies of first year’s mark sheet and students seeking admission to third year ( after clearing SY) should attach two attested true copies of second year’s mark sheet. The students should also carry the original mark sheet with them.
  3. Students should attach original L.C. /T.C. with the application form. This will not be given back under any condition.
  4. Caste certificate / Validity / Creamy Layer certificate/ Domicile (if applicable) should be submitted along with two Xerox copies.
  5. Students should keep extra copies of H.S.C. certificate & mark sheet with them for their future requirements.
  6. Students from other Universities seeking admission for the first year will have to pay Eligibility fees as per the University of Pune rules.
C. For students from colleges affiliated to Universities other than University of Pune.
  1. Students should submit the Migration certificate from their Universities/ Boards.
  2. Two attested true copies of the mark sheet to be attached.
  3. Original L.C/T.C. and two attested true copies to be attached.
  4. Caste certificate / Validity / Creamy Layer certificate/ Domicile (if applicable) should be submitted along with two Xerox copies.
  5. It is the responsibility of the students to arrange the Eligibility certificates from University of Pune.
  6. Self-addressed envelope with postage for registered post to be attached.
  7. Foreign students seeking admission to this college should contact the International Student Center at the University of Pune for obtaining the Letter of Admission. Admissions to foreign students will be granted only after the Letter of Admission is produced.

Students seeking admission to the Senior College must obtain the prospectus along with application for which is available in the college office for Rs. 300/- and by post/courier Rs. 350/-.the same should be given either in cash in the office or by D.D. in favour of ‘Principal Balaji College of Arts Commerce and Science’.

Note: The admissions will be finalized only after the compliance of all the relevant certificates and documents. For the curriculum and the admission procedure, the decision taken by the University of Pune will determine and amend from time to time.

Junior College

Admission procedure for Junior College
  • Admission to Std. XI (F.Y.J.C.) is through centralized admission process conducted by the Higher Secondary Board, Pune which will start after declaration of Std. X results in Maharashtra. Students having passed Std. X (SSC/CBSE/ICSE/NOS or other equivalent examinations) are eligible for admission to F.Y.J.C. as per the merit and availability of seats. Aspirants are advised to refer the website www.msbshse.ac.in as well as www.bcacspune.com.
  • Students who have passed from Boards other than Maharashtra State Board should get validation certification from Maharashtra State Board for participating in the admission process.
  • Students can seek admission to Std. XII directly as per availability of seats. Direct applications to Std.XI may be considered for vacant seats after centralized admission process.
  • The admission will be finalized only after compliance of all the relevant certificates and documents.
  • Fees can be paid in two installments. The first installment should be paid at the time of admission and the second installment in the first week of December.
  • Reservation for Backward category candidates will be as per the norms of Govt. of Maharashtra.
  • Students seeking admission to the Junior college may obtain the prospectus along with the application form from the college office by making requisite payment, either in cash or by  D.D. in favour of ‘Principal Balaji Junior College of Arts, Commerce & Science’
    OR
    Application form may be downloaded from the college website www.bcacspune.com, and the duly filled form may be sent to the college office along with the Demand Draft.
Documents required at the time of Admission
  • Statement of marks of SSC or other examination considered equivalent by the Board having passed in minimum five subjects with English as one of the subjects.
  • School/College Leaving certificate/Transfer Certificate (duly countersigned by the examination officer, if applicable).
  • Passing Certificate of SSC or equivalent examination.
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Anti-Ragging Affidavit is mandatory to be submitted at the time of admission.
  • Certificate in the prescribed “Appendix A” of eligibility form of the Board (for candidates coming from outside India)
  • Caste Certificate/ Validity/ Creamy layer (as applicable) should be submitted along with two Xerox copies.
  • Domicile Certificate.
  • Character Certificate.
  • Any other.

NOTE:

  1. Fees as notified by the authorities will be displayed on the notice board.
  2. Admission will be finalized only after all the necessary documents are submitted and eligibility is granted by the Board.
  3. For the curriculum and the admission procedure, the decision of the Deputy Director of Education along with the SSC Board will determine and amend from time to time.
